At Moksha Elements, our mission is to create conscious, sustainable fashion that not only respects the planet but uplifts the communities that bring these products to life. Our Free Collection is a reflection of this mission, clothing made from organic hemp and cotton, handcrafted by the local villagers in Nepal, and designed to feel as natural as the earth itself. Every piece represents our commitment to ethical production, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.

Empowering Barang Village

​

Barang Village, a small, self-sustaining community nestled in the Himalayas, is at the heart of our Free Collection. For generations, this village has lived in harmony with nature, relying on its resources to thrive. However, as times change, the villagers face new challenges and need support to maintain their way of life while adapting to modern advancements.

With every purchase from the Free Collection, 10% of the proceeds are directly invested in Barang Village. Our goal is to help the community improve their quality of life without losing their rich cultural heritage. These contributions go towards enhancing their infrastructure, providing access to education and healthcare, and creating opportunities for sustainable growth.

A Retreat to Connect with Community

Next year, Moksha Elements will host a special retreat in Barang Village in Nepal, inviting our customers to experience the impact of their purchases and contributions to the Free Collection firsthand. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Himalayas, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to connect with the local artisans and villagers who are the soul of our Free Collection.

Guests will immerse themselves in the tranquil rhythms of village life, delving into the deep-rooted traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism that shape the community's spiritual foundation. They will explore the permaculture practices that sustain Barang’s way of life, gaining insight into how the villagers harmonize with nature. Most importantly, participants will witness firsthand the positive impact their intentional purchase from the Free Collection is making.

This retreat is far more than just a visit, it’s an opportunity to experience the essence of sustainable living, connect deeply with the artisans who craft each garment, and become an integral part of the ongoing story of progress, as modern resources and opportunities bring renewed hope to Barang Village.
